Pool Director

Coordinates and supervises the aquatic program at the swimming pool. Manages and maintains records, reports, health and safety standards and the pool.

Qualifications: Minimum age 21. Current Lifeguard, CPR and Pool Operator certifications. Supervisory experience desired.

Waterfront Director

Coordinates and supervises boating activities on the waterfront. At May Flather, that includes kayaking and canoeing. Coles Trip also includes sailing and windsurfing. Supervises waterfront staff and ensures that safety standards are being met on the waterfront.

Qualifications: Minimum age 21. Current Lifeguard and CPR certifications for a waterfront. Instructor level certification in one of the watercraft listed or willingness to receive training. Previous supervisory experience.

Aquatic Director

Coordinates and supervises the aquatic program, including swimming pool and waterfront activities. Manages and maintains records, reports, health and safety standards at the pool; supervises waterfront staff and ensures that safety standards are being met on the waterfront.

Qualifications: Minimum age 21. Current Lifeguard, CPR, and Pool Operator certifications. Previous supervisory experience desired.

Canoe/Kayak Specialist

Assists with the implementation of the canoe and kayak program on the waterfront. Assures that safety standards are being met. Assists with unit programming in the evening when the waterfront is closed.

Qualifications: Minimum age 21. Current Lifeguard, CPR, and instructor level certification in canoeing/kayaking/small craft safety- or willingness to receive training.

Pool Counselor

Assists with the implementation of the aquatic program. Works as a lifeguard. Assists with unit programming in the evening when pool is closed.

Qualifications: Current Lifeguard and CPR certifications. Willingness to accept direction.

Waterfront Counselor

Assists with implementation of boating activities on the waterfront. At May Flather and Winona, that includes kayaking and canoeing. Coles Trip also includes sailing and windsurfing. Ensures that safety standards are being met. Assists with unit programming in the evening when waterfront is closed.

Qualifications: Minimum age 21. Current Lifeguard and CPR certifications for a waterfront. Instructor level certification in one of the watercraft listed or willingness to receive training. Previous supervisory experience.

Lead Sailing Instructor

Work in conjunction with the Waterfront Director to implement the sailing program. Ensure that safety standards are being met. Assists with unit programming in the evening when waterfront is closed.

Qualifications: Current Waterfront Lifeguard and CPR certification. Teaching skills and Sailing Instructor Certification or the ability to pass the Sailing Instructor course.

Lead Kayaking Instructor

Work in conjunction with the Waterfront Director to implement the kayaking program. Ensure that safety standards are being met. Assists with unit programming in the evening when waterfront is closed.

Qualifications: Current Waterfront Lifeguard and CPR certification. Teaching skills and Kayaking Instructor Certification or the ability to pass the Kayaking Instructor course.
