Sleep Away Camp Programs at Camp Coles Trip Summer 2013

      Coles Trip Program Dates Chart 

Experience Aquia (5 to 7) Fee $350
Sample all that Coles Trip has to offer- kayaking, sailing and windsurfing. You’ll also get to visit the archery range, arts and crafts, and spend time around the campfire!

A Pirate’s Life for Me! (5 to 7) Fee $350
Arrrr Mateys! Try your hand at sailing, kayaking, and windsurfing for full pirate training. Challenge other boats to a water balloon fight and see if you can outmaneuver your buddies on the water. End the week designing, building, and floating a pirate’s raft.

Quidditch Adventures (5 to 7) Fee $350
Each day offers a new class from herbology to potions. Replace your broom stick with a kayak as you play Quidditch on Aquia Creek!

NEW! Tribute Training (5 to 7) Fee $350
Spend a week at Coles Trip training like a tribute! You’ll learn outdoor survival skills, advance your archery technique and visit the waterfront for kayaking. You will get a chance to practice all your skills on an overnight and see if you have what it takes to be the next winner of the Coles Trip Games! May the odds be ever in your favor!

Beachfront Explorers (6 to 8) Fee $350
Enjoy a fun filled week of kayaking, sailing, and windsurfing- sampling all the best that Coles Trip has to offer. You’ll also visit the archery range, arts and crafts, and spend time around the campfire.

Sail Away (6 to 8) Fee $350
Enjoy a week exploring the waters of Aquia Creek by sail boat. You’ll spend each day sailing and learn skills including capsize recovery, understanding wind direction and how to stay on course!

Kayak Crazy (6 to 8) Fee $350
Improve your paddling skills with a week of fun practice along Aquia Creek. The week will come to an end with an overnight kayaking trip!

Windrunners (6 to 8) Fee $350
Spend time on the waterfront each day windsurfing while learning to balance, understand wind direction and stay on course.

Aquatic Adventures (6 to 11) Fee $560
Not sure if you want to paddle, windsurf, or sail? Then take two weeks to try it all! You’ll also get to do arts and crafts, archery, have a cook out and spend an overnight in the location of your choice at camp!

Sailor’s Adventure (7 to 11) Fee $610
Become a true sailor as you learn to rig and navigate a sailboat at camp, starting out on Sunfish and working your way up to JY14’s by the end of your two weeks. You’ll also take a trip to Annapolis, MD to go sailing on a schooner.

Kayak Adventures (7 to 11) Fee $610
Love kayaking? Spend two weeks at camp perfecting your skills. During your second week, you’ll go on an overnight trip to explore the Cacapon River and GSCNC Camp White Rock in West Virginia!

Leadership Programs

NEW! Aquatic CIT (ACIT) (8 to 11) Fee: $460
Find the leader in you in this two-week program, and get a taste of what it’s like to work on the waterfront.  Learn to lead songs, games and other camp activities, and experience the challenges and rewards of working with younger girls in an outdoor setting while earning your CIT pin.  Aquatic CITs must leave camp on their weekend break; bus transportation is available.  The ACIT program is a prerequisite for the CIT II program.
