Bus Transportation Information

Experience Aquia (5 to 7)
Sample all that Coles Trip has to offer- kayaking, sailing and windsurfing. You’ll also get to visit the archery range, arts and crafts, and spend time around the campfire.

A Pirate’s Life for Me! (5 to 7)
Arrrr Mateys! Try your hand at sailing, kayaking, and windsurfing for the full pirate training. Challenge other boats to a water balloon fight and see if you can outmaneuver your buddies on the water. By the end the week, you will design, built and launch a pirate’s raft.
Fee: $350

Quidditch Adventures (5 to 7)
Each day offers a new class from Herbology to Potions. Replace your broom stick with as kayak as you play Quidditch on Aquia Creek.

NEW! Golden Eaglet Camping (5 to 7)
Learn morse code, semaphore, cook outside and hike with your bedroll on your back just like the early days of Girl Scouting.  Spend time remaking the popular early Girl Scout video, the Golden Eaglet.

Beachfront Explorers (6 to 8)
Join others for a fun-filled week of kayaking, sailing, canoeing and windsurfing- sampling all the best that Coles Trip has to offer. You’ll also get to visit the archery range, arts and crafts, and spending time around the campfire.

NEW! Can You Canoe? (6 to 8)
Perfect your canoeing skills at Coles Trip.  Learn how to recover a turned over boat and get back in if you decide to splash in the creek to cool off!

NEW! Sail Away (6 to 8)
Spend a week exploring the waters of Aquia Creek by sail boat. You’ll spend each day sailing and learn skills including capsize recovery, understanding wind direction and how to stay on course. All with time to do arts and crafts, archery and a cookout!

Kayak Crazy (6 to 8)
Improve your paddling skills with one week of fun practice along the creek. The week will come to an end with an overnight kayaking trip.

Wind Runners (6 to 8)
Spend time on the waterfront each day windsurfing while learning to balance, understand wind direction and stay on course.  All with time to do arts and crafts, archery and a cookout!

Aquatic Adventures 2 Weeks (6 to 11)
Not sure if you want to paddle, windsurf, sail, or even try canoeing? Then take two weeks to try it all! You’ll also get to visit the archery range, arts and crafts, cooking out and spending an overnight in the location of your choice in camp!

Sailor’s Adventure 2 Weeks (7 to 11)
Become a true sailor as you learn to rig and navigate a sailboat at camp.  Starting out on a Sunfish, you will work your way up to JY14’s by the end of your two weeks. You’ll also take a trip to Annapolis, MD to go sailing on a schooner.

NEW! Kayak Adventures 2 Weeks (7 to 11)
Love kayaking? Spend two weeks at camp perfecting your skills. During your second week, you’ll go on an a two night trip to explore the Cacapon River and Camp White Rock in West Virginia.

Waterfront Aide 2 Weeks (7 to 11)
Spend a week perfecting your kayaking, sailing and windsurfing skills and learn what it takes to be a specialist on the waterfront. Then step it up during week two and be an assistant as new campers come to camp.  Leadership Programs at other Sleep Away Camps
