Girl Scout Alumnae News and Opportunities

GS Alumnae

There are many ways that you can remain involved as a proud Girl Scout Alumnae.  We welcome all Alumnae and Lifetime Members to stay up-to-date regarding Council News and Events and ways that you can volunteer, get involved and support Girl Scouts.

Girl Scouts USA has relaunched their Alumnae Association website; click here to register so you can reconnect with old friends and find new Girl Scout Alumnae near you!

Click here to find out all the ways that you can support our council:

If you would like to find out more about donating to Girl Scouts Council of the Nation's Capital please contact our Individual Giving Officer, Kate Kennedy at kkennedy@gscnc.org or 202-534-3796.

Girl Scouts Council of the Nation’s Capital has launched a new blog, CapiTalk, you can click here to read it and as a proud alumna feel free to leave your comments.

We are asking that Girl Scout Alumnae share their stories with us!  Tell us why you joined Girl Scouts. What made you continue as a Scout?  And why are you/do you want to be an active Alumnae.  Let us know what you learned in Girl Scouts that helped shape who you are and the successes and accomplishments you have had in your life.

E-mail Stefanie Vestal at svestal@gscnc.org if you have a Girl Scout story that you want to share.

In this era of social media it is very easy to share information across the country.  We are looking for digital ambassadors who can help us spread the good news of Girl Scouts.  If you would like to volunteer to write a blog, send tweets, post on facebook, etc. about your positive Girl Scout experiences and stories, please e-mail Tonya Muse at tmuse@gscnc.org and let us know.  The time commitment would be minimum, but the impact huge.

Rock the Mall
