Paths to Join
All girls are invited to join Girl Scouting – including girls with special needs, girls of every race, religion and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Joining a Girl Scout troop gives girls the opportunity to work with a group of peers in their grade level, in partnership with two or more adult volunteer troop leaders. With the guidance and mentoring of caring adults, girls develop their full potential, including teamwork and leadership skills to last a lifetime. For troop placement, contact your area Girl Scout office.

Each year, GSCNC offers three leadership conferences for girls who are interested in joining Girl Scouts. These conferences give girls the opportunity to see what Girl Scouts has to offer.
GSCNC provides a variety of opportunities for girls to enjoy the outdoors, including summer camp, troop camping, and camp programs.
