Girl Scouts Show Their "100 years" Pride in Potomac Falls Homecoming Parade

More than 200 girl scouts from Service Units 70-8 and 70-11 (Sterling, Va area) didn’t stop from marching and showing their Girl Scout 100 year pride during the local Potomac Falls Homecoming Parade even though they faced unfavorable weather. The event brought out Girl Scouts of all ages and walks of life. Every level of girl scout was represented from brand new Daisies to Ambassadors. Some girl scouts dressed in cookie costumes and historic uniforms. The girls sang, threw candy and had lots of fun with the community that has supported them for many years.
