What Can a Girl Do? A World of Good! I’ll Show You How…
The Girl Scout Product Sales Program (Fall Product and Cookie Sale) is the largest girl-run business in the world. Girl Scouts around the country venture into the entrepreneurial world to learn essential business and financial skills and earn money to fund their Girl Scouting goals and improve their communities.
What Girls Think about Selling Cookies! Take a look at what girls learn by participating in the program by watching this video filmed at our 2013 Top Cookie Sellers event at the Washington National Zoo.

Gift of Caring For a variety of reasons, some buyers may not want to buy cookies for themselves. With Gift of Caring, they have a chance to give to others while supporting Girl Scouting at the same time.
There are many ways to participate! Troops decide which Gift of Caring option they will support this upcoming Cookie Season, or will select all three and let the buyer decide!
Hometown Heroes: Your troop can identify any group they want to help. Use this to further some of your badge and journey work, or to explore another idea that interests the girls. The troop communicated their recipient to the customer during the initial order phase as well as during direct sales and collects payment at the point of order or sale. Your troop schedules delivery of donated cookies.
Troop 2 Troops: Your Troop can donate cookies to the military through a new partnership with the USO Metropolitan Washington. The troop can collect orders during the initial order phase as well as during direct sales and collects payment at the point of order or sale. Your troop will drop off donated cookies at the USO Warrior and Family Center at Fort Belvoir on specifically identified drop-off days in early April.
Capital Cookies Care:NEW! Donate to the Capital Area Food Bank through our new virtual Gift of Caring program. During the initial order phase, girls take orders and collect payment. Council will deliver all donated cookies to the food bank; troops do not receive these cookies at the end of the sale, but do get credit for every box donated.
