After a year of planning, cookie sales and fundraising;  the girls, leaders and moms of Brownie Troop 1743 and Junior Troop 1831 took a four day excursion to Savannah GA.  The girls earned their Coastal Georgia Badges  by participating is a dolphin boat tour, marsh walk and beach cleaning at the Tybee Island Marine Science Center.  Their trip was educational and FUN and the food was outstanding.  It was an awesome experience that none of us will ever forget.  Submitted by Marlynne Brown

Senior Troop 282 standing in front of Windsor Castle Teens Explore London

After two years of fundraising and planning, Senior Troop 282 traveled to England for a week of sightseeing.  In London, the group saw icons including the Tower of London, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, the Globe Theater, etc.  Outside the city, they visited Stonehenge, Bath and Windsor Castle.  They also rode the London Eye and took an evening tour of the Harry Potter Studio.  A highlight of the trip was meeting Guides from England at the zoo, followed by games at the World Centre in North London, Pax Lodge. Troop 3334 standing at the the Juliette Gordon Low Commemorative Medallion Troop 3334 Toured The White House & Other Sights in DC

As part of its year-end activity, Troop 3334 enjoyed a trip to DC to visit the MLK Memorial, tour the White House, and explore the Extra Mile Points of Light Volunteer Pathway.  In displaying leadership and the true meaning of being a sister to every Girl Scout, Troop 3334 invited their Girl Scout siblings as tagalongs in helping them achieve their Discover the Nation's Capital Patch.
