2015 Summer Rental Opportunities

Adventures await you this summer at Camp White Rock! Camp White Rock will be open for summer rentals available to large groups, placement preference will be given to groups of 75 or more. While at Camp White Rock, your group can take advantage of everything the camp has to offer including canoeing, archery, low ropes course and the swimming pool. Dudley Hall is available to provide food service for large groups.

Camp White Rock is available the following weekends:

June 12-14 August 14-16
June 19-21
June 26-28
July 10-12
July 24-26

Applications must be received at the council by mail, fax or email by January 9, 2015 and no payment is due at that time. Applications will be accepted prior to January 9, 2015. 

  • Notifications of the status of your application will be sent by January 23, 2015.
  • A $150 deposit is due by March 2, 2015. Cancelation anytime after March 2, 2015 will result in loss of deposit and priority placement for Summer 2016 dates.
  • Final payments and paperwork will be due to the council office by April 1, 2015. If full payment is not received by this date your sites will be released to troop camping.

Additional fees apply for equipment rental for canoeing, archery, use of the challenge course, commercial kitchen and pool. Weekend rental fees for archery and the challenge course are $25 and weekend rental fees for canoeing is $40. 

Hampshire County requires that an individual with ServSafe certification supervise all meal preparation. GSCNC has a certified cook available as a direct cost to user groups. The cost for weekend foods service is $255.00 plus cost of food. The fee includes meal preparation for Saturday (breakfast, lunch and dinner) as well a Saturday snack and a cold breakfast on Sunday. Please note Friday dinner is the responsibility of the user groups and cannot be prepared in the commercial kitchen. The capacity of the dining hall cannot exceed 150.

If you are using the pool, a minimum of two lifeguards must be present at a cost of $16 per hour for the first guard and $12 per hour for each additional guard, please refer to the safety checkpoints for all high adventure ratios.

In need of trained adults for these activites? Resource lists are available and they enable troops/groups without a trained adult to request someone to help work with their troop/groups. GSCNC will provide, as a direct cost to user groups, certified Life Guards. You will be asked to provide additional information about your high adventure needs on the application.
