Annual Meeting And More
Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital will hold its 2015 Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 25 at the National Conference Center. The Annual Meeting is an opportunity for delegates to take part in discussions that will shape the future of the Council. During this meeting, delegates vote on issues of importance to the Council and elect members to the Board of Directors.
This year, all Girl Scout members are invited to attend the first ever Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital Maker Day directly following the meeting. Girl Scouts will exhibit projects showcasing their STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics plus Art) skills. Members are encouraged to interact with Girl Scout Makers—this is a hands-on event!
