Camp AquascoCamp Aquasco, in Aquasco, Maryland, was acquired in 1974. The camp is comprised of 172 acres owned by the Maryland Parks and Planning. The camp features two sides- one an open field for primitive camping, the other with a lodge and glen shelter unit. Facilities There are five seasonal (November 1 - April 1) port-a-johns and a cold water hydrant (November 1 - April 1) for the primitive sites. The lodge includes a kitchen, bathroom facilities with flush toilets and a shower, and gas heat and fireplace. There is a nearby outdoor fire circle. The glen shelter unit also includes flush toilets, sinks and a shower, as well as a year-round cold water hydrant. Weather warnings are often issued by county. Camp Aquasco is in Prince George’s County. Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels) are NOT PROVIDED at our campsites (including lodges). Special Dates Reservation filed an updated B220 form for the year. This form asks you to list certified adults associated with your troop and must include a leader (101 and level training), first aider, and camping qualified (200) adult. His contact information is available on the camp information packet you will receive when you reserve a campsite at Aquasco. There's no need for you to check in with Mike when you arrive at camp, but if you'd like to leave him a note (regarding things that need to be fixed- or just a "thank you"), a caretaker's mailbox is available on the main property.
