Trainer Education
GSCNC Trainers are asked to take at least six hours of continuing education over a three-year appointment period. While many trainers find opportunities through their professional careers or community, GSCNC offers continuing education classes to strengthen trainer skills and techniques.
Classes are offered throughout the calendar year and available on the online training registration site. In addition, GSCNC holds a weekend training event for trainers and administrative volunteers every other year.
GSUSA's Edith Macy Conference Center provides additional opportunities for continuing education.
