Summer Resident Camp Employment

you'll get that and more while working with girls to discover their full
potential. You can make a difference with you join the summer camp staff
of Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital. GSCNC owns and now operates
FOUR resident camps that offer a variety of opportunities for campers
and staff.
Camp Winona: New Resident Camp Summer 2008!!
Located near Hughesville, Maryland
Hiking, canoeing, field games, nature, and swimming
Half- and one-week programs for girls in grades 1-12
Employment period: mid-June to mid-August
Fits well with individuals who like working with younger girls and nature-related
programming.
Camp Potomac Woods: Let
your memories begin here.
Located on the Potomac River in Loudoun County, VA
Hiking, horseback riding, field games, drama, dance and swimming
Half- and one-week programs for girls in grades 1-12
Employment period: mid-June to mid-August
Perfect for individuals who are majoring in elementary education or who
enjoy working with younger girls.
Camp May Flather: Go

Nestled in the George Washington Forest outside of Harrisonburg, VA
Hiking, backpacking, challenge course, rock climbing, caving, primitive
camping and canoeing.
One- and two-week sessions for girls in grades 4-12
Employment period: mid-June to mid-August
Fantastic choice for individuals who love the outdoors and adventure activities
Camp Coles Trip: Dive
into adventure.
On the Aquia Creek in Stafford County, VA
Sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and hiking
One- and two-week sessions for girls in grades 6-12
