Summer Resident (Sleep-Away) Camp

Making Memories One Summer at a Time

When your daughter unpacks her belongings and settles into her tent or glen shelter, she will be heading for the time of her life! Memories are sure to be made roasting marshmallows around a campfire, enjoying meals in the dining hall with lots of new (and old) friends, hiking trails, splashing in the pool or creek, testing mind and body in a rigorous challenge course, or getting creative at a crafts table. An extraordinary experience awaits everywhere girls gather at resident camp.

Our goal is to provide a safe environment where your daughter can gain skills, confidence, and friendships as she has great fun and creates lasting memories. We're looking forward to helping your daughter discover the magic of sleep-away camp!

We are pleased to announce that your daughter now has FOUR camps to choose from!

*NEW- Summer of 2008* Camp Winona is a whole new beautiful setting to discover with many brand new facilities! Camp is ready to come alive with laughter and songs and we’re excited to create new traditions as the summer unfolds. From swimming in the brand new zero-entry pool to canoeing on our lake, Winona offers so much to new and experienced campers!

Camp Winona is located in Hughesville, MD. Winona will provide programming for girls entering grades 1-12. Girls may attend half week (four day) to full week programs.

Camp Potomac Woods is a special place where you will be involved in tons of activities-swimming, hiking, cookouts, s'mores-just about anything you can think of. You'll never get bored because there is always something to do. While you might go to camp with a friend, it is not necessary to know someone. At camp you will meet new friends, try new things and have lots of FUN!!!!

Camp Potomac Woods is located in Leesburg, VA. Potomac Woods is a popular place for first time campers and offers programming for girls entering grades 1-12. Girls may attend programs ranging in length from 4 days to one week.

Camp May Flather has an adventure waiting for you. May Flather defines adventure in a variety of ways. Adventure is waking up every morning to the mountain air, splashing around the pool with a new friend, challenging yourself as you learn a new element on the challenge course, but most of all adventure is fun!

May Flather is located in Mt Solon, VA. Camp May Flather provides a balance of traditional camp activities with modern day adventures. Girls entering grades 4-12 can choose from a wide variety of programs that will propel them to new limits in a setting saturated with natural wonders.

All May Flather campers will have the opportunity to go through a challenge course that is designed to help girls work as a team, build confidence, gain problem-solving skills and most importantly have fun. The challenge course consists of a series of challenges, activities and games where the girls will be climbing, balancing, and crawling over and under obstacles.

Coles Trip: The new…the unknown….the thrill of new adventures and the exhilaration of achievement are among the many things that girls will experience at Camp Coles Trip. This aquatic- based camp combines sailing, kayaking, and windsurfing with campfires, friends, song and more for an unforgettable voyage of discovery.

Camp Coles Trip, a 225-acre campsite, rises from the banks of Aquia Creek in Stafford County, Virginia. Its rugged terrain and peaceful waters offer special aquatic programming for girls entering grades 6-12. The site includes a newly renovated dining hall, arts and crafts center, health center, and shower house. There are three living units, two glen shelter units and one platform tent unit, providing housing for campers and staff. Each unit has latrines, washstands and unit shelter. Girls are assigned to living units by age and program request.

Girls may attend one or two-week sessions and participate in a unit focusing on sailing, windsurfing or canoeing.
