Thank you to the SHARE Task Force; association, service unit, and troop level SHARE volunteers; and the more than 14,600 donors who have made this year’s SHARE annual giving campaign a huge success! Through SHARE, GSCNC has raised over $545,000, which goes to benefit each member of our council in various ways, including volunteer training, council programs, financial assistance, publications and more!
The SHARE Task Force is preparing for the 2007-2008 SHARE Campaign. We are giving volunteers two dates and locations from which to choose to attend the SHARE Kickoff: Thursday, August 16, 2007, from 6:15 – 9:00 p.m. at Marriott Greenbelt (Greenbelt, MD) and Tuesday, August 21, 2007, from 6:15 – 9:00 p.m. at Marriott Fairview Park (Falls Church, VA). The same information (and a light supper) will be presented at both events, so choose whichever one is most convenient for you and your summer schedule! Volunteers are helping plan this fun event to make it not only an exciting start to the year, but also a great training opportunity for returning and new SHARE leaders alike.
