Our Girl Scout Council The Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital (GSCNC) serves the Greater Washington Region, which includes the District of Columbia, eight counties in Maryland, ten counties in Virginia and seven counties in West Virginia. The diverse full-time staff of 115 and seasonal part-time staff of over 300 collectively serve approximately 90,000 girl and adult members. Our council’s main office is located in Northwest Washington, DC, while staff in the 6 satellite offices throughout Maryland, Northern Virginia, and West Virginia serves the outlying areas.
