Wondering what life was like back in colonial times?  Girl Scouts will learn the tale of a real colonial girl, Sarah Carlyle, by following an interactive tour of her 1753 Alexandria home.  Listen to her story, take part in colonial activities, dress like Sarah, write a letter with quill pen and ink, and more!

Program Level: J
What did kids do before internet and TV?  Girl Scouts will learn about the toys and games colonial children played with during an interactive tour of the 1753 home of John Carlyle and his family.  After the tour, participants get creative in making their own colonial spinnng toy and Carlyle doll house. 

Fee: $5/girl (patch included).  First two adults free, everyone else is $5/adult.  $25 minimum.
