Paint Me a Story
Program Level: Daisy
Paint me a story for Girl Scout Daisies is a 1-hour activity. It begins with story time reinforcing a recently earned learning petal. Afterwards, each Girl Scout paints a ceramic daisy trinket box. For in-studio visits, each Girl Scout troop will tour our kiln room and learn about the glazing and firing process. Each Girl Scout Daisy will receive a Color Me Mine Fun Patch.

Try-Its for Brownies
Program Level: Brownie
We offer two Brownie Try-It activities to choose from: Art to Wear and Colors and Shapes. For Art to Wear, each Brownie will paint a ceramic pendant and a small jewelry box. For Colors and Shapes each Brownie will learn about the color wheel, mix colors and paint color wheel dinner plates. For in studio visits, each Girl Scout troop will tour our kiln room and learn about the glazing and firing process. Each Girl Scout Brownie will receive a Color Me Mine Fun Patch.

Clay and Ceramics badge Workshop
Program Level: Junior
Girl Scout juniors will complete 6 requirements necessary for their ceramics and clay badge. The activity is 2 hours long. Each Junior scout will learn about types of clay and glazes, hand build pottery, paint a ceramic beaded tile and apply glazes, and underglazes. For in studio visits, each Girl Scout troop will tour our kiln room and learn about the glazing and firing process. Each Girl Scout Junior will receive a Color Me Mine Fun Patch.

Color Me Mine Patch Program
Program Level: All
During this 1.5 hour activity, Girl Scouts will learn the basics of ceramic paintings and how to use common design materials to create a pottery masterpiece. Each Girl Scout will choose a piece of pottery to paint, either a bowl, plate, or mug. This activity is appropriate for mixed level groups and troop celebrations. For in-studio visits, each Girl Scout troop will tour our kiln room and learn about the glazing and firing process. Every Girl Scout will receive a Color Me Mine Fun Patch.
