Congressional AideCelebrate 36 Years of Service on the Hill! Congressional Aide Participants: "I got to see that the Congress is involved in a large range of topics that relate to the average teenager." Assignments vary among offices, but typical tasks include answering phones, sorting mail, communicating with other offices, and welcoming guests into the assigned office. Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors are eligible to apply for this prestigious GSCNC program. 2010 Congressional Aide applications are due: March 1, 2010 by 5pm. A complete Congressional Aide Application includes: Please note: All application materials should arrive in one mailing. If this is not possible, you may send two mailings. The first should include your application form, resume, Health History form, and Behavior Agreement. The second should include both of your letters of reference. Please do not send items individually, as this will increase the chance that they will become separated from the rest of your application. Congressional Aide Dates for 2010:
All applicants must attend one mandatory orientation session in the spring, and are invited to attend optional Congressional Aide workshops in the winter. More details will be coming soon.
