Connections Corner

Pen Pals with Girl Scouts and Girl Guides outside of the United States

Looking for connections globally?  Want to converse with girls in the area you've chosen for Thinking Day?  Connect with them throught the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, also known as WAGGGS.

To find Pen Pals or connections with girls in other countries, start by visiting the WAGGGS webpage. Click on Our World to see a list of all the WAGGGS member organizations and their Web sites. From these pages, you can link to individual country Web sites to research pen pal programs. The country probably has a pen pal program if they list a Postal Secretary as a contact. Please keep in mind that other member organizations may not be able to meet the request for pen pals.  Some organizations have very few employees and may not be able to respond to international inquiries.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact GSUSA's Global Girl Scouting department via e-mail globalgirlscouting@girlscouts.org or call (800) 223-0624.

Meet/Host a Visiting Troop

Troops often come to the Nation's Capital to visit and tour.  Sometimes they want to meet local Girl Scouts (YOU) and exchange ideas, stories and SWAPS!  When visiting troops ask, we'll post their information below.  Feel free to contact them directly!
