Methods of Payment

GSCNC accepts a variety of payment methods:

Cash and/or Check Gifts
You can either mail your check (please don't send cash) to GSCNC at 4301 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20008, Attention: Fund Development, for processing and acknowledgement or give your cash or check to a troop leader or SHAREleader to send to GSCNC on your behalf. Please make checks payable to GSCNC.

Credit Card Gifts
We accept Visa and MasterCard for gifts of $25 or more. Please indicate in writing the amount of the gift, where the gift should be credited, the credit card number, the expiration date, and the name as it appears on the card. This written statement should be signed and mailed to the Fund Development office for processing.

You may also give through our secure online donation page using a credit card. (Master Card and Visa only, please.) Donations can be of any amount when done online. Simply fill out the form and click "submit" to process your donation. You will receive a confirmation email of your donation immediately upon submission.

Long-Term Pledges
For gifts of $100 or more to SHARE, you may choose to pledge your support to GSCNC. This option allows you to pay your donation over time. We simply ask that your pledge is paid in full by June 30th. To make a pledge, you may fill out a contribution envelope or use our secure online donation form.

Gifts of Securities/Stock
Gifts of appreciated securities can provide you with the opportunity to make a substantial gift to GSCNC, avoid capital gains taxes and use the gift as a charitable tax donation.

The process of transferring appreciated stock to GSCNC is quite simple. The first step is to notify our Fund Development office of your intent to make a gift. Donations may be restricted to a particular fund or unrestricted for general operating uses. Upon notification of an impending securities gift, GSCNC will contact you with details for submitting the transfer either in person, through the mail, or electronically.

Bequests
Because GSCNC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, a bequest allows you to pass any amount to GSCNC free of estate taxes. You specify the dollar amount or percentage of the estate to be donated with or without restrictions. Please see the Juliette Low Society page for more information on bequests.
