Troops may rent camping equipment from the Dorr Avenue Equipment Center. This center carries basic cooking equipment, backpacking equipment, tents, ground covers, shelters, tarps, mallets, and specialized cooking equipment. 

All equipment is rented to GSCNC troops/groups only on a first-come, first-served basis. To meet your troop camping needs your Camp Equipment Rental Form (B290) should be received by the Equipment Center no earlier than three months prior to your trip and no later than three weeks prior to your trip. You will be contacted, within a week of receipt of the form, to confirm your rental request and the location, pickup and return dates for your equipment.

With three weeks prior notice, arrangements can be made to have the equipment delivered to the Connecticut Avenue office or any of the out-based offices.
