Eco-Expo

Family and friends are welcome to attend this event, however all parents and tagalongs should be included in the troop's registration. Registration for this event is now closed. Please note the end time for this event has changed from 5:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

What: Girl Scouts Forever Green Eco-Expo
Who: Girl Scouts of All Ages
Where: Fort Washington Park, MD
When: Sunday, May 1, 2011. 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Cost: $4 per person (driving)

Presenters from various organizations, corporations and Girl Scout troops make this a unique opportunity to explore environmental issues through hands-on activities while spending a fun day in the park!

Everyone who registers for the event will receive a special commemorative patch (please note that this patch is not available in the Girl Scout Shop).

The park cleanup and exhibits will be ongoing during the event times listed. You are welcome to spend as much or as little time as you wish visiting with us, and can check in throughout the event.  Troops are not required to arrive precisely at 1:00 p.m. or stay until 4:00 p.m.

Park entry is included in your registration. When you reach the parking booth at Fort Washington Park, use the promotional code "GSCNC" to receive free parking for this event!  Due to the environmental theme of this program, we ask attendees to carpool to this event if possible.
