For All Ages National River Cleanup Kickoff on the Anacostia Be a part of the effort to clean up our rivers and streams by participating in the National River Cleanup kickoff event sponsored by American Rivers. Work with community members and other troops from GSCNC to spend a day outside protecting our community's water resources. Bring friends, family, and prospective Girl Scouts to help out! $2 program fee includes a participation patch for everyone who attends the program. Click here to register. Bowie Baysox Outfield Camp-Out Come cheer on the Bowie Baysox as they take on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats with a special pre-game Girl Scout Parade at 6:15 PM. Camp-out in the outfield, participate in fun activities, watch a movie on the big screen, and more! $7/ticket. Ticket price includes overnight camp-out and patch. Girl Scout Day with D.C. United Celebrate a special day for all Girl Scouts, families, and friends with D.C. United. Get discounted group tickets and your troop name on the marquee scoreboard during the game. Troops with 25 or more tickets get to participate in the Team Touchline on the field (limited availability). Don't forget to wear your Girl Scout uniforms! National Trails Day Join us in our celebration of National Trails Day and earn the Get with the Land Patch. Participate in fun trail activities such as learning Leave No Trace skills and talking to an Appalachian Trail expert, as well as working on a trail maintenance service project. Program fee is $5 for girls and $2 for adults, which covers program materials, patches, and park entrance/usage fees. Click here to register

For Girls of All Ages Girl Scout Night with the Washington Freedom Join the Washington Freedom for Fan Fest before the game with interactive soccer activities and giveaways. At the start of the game Girl Scouts will be invited to participate in the high five wind tunnel to welcome the players as they enter the field. Stick around after the game for autographs! $8/ticket. Girl Scout Night at Step Afrika! Step Afrika! is celebrated worldwide for its performance of stepping, the percussive dance tradition first created by African American fraternities and sororities. In their biggest production of the year, Step Afrika! returns with its "visually and musically exciting" (Washington Post) ensemble of dancers and special guest artist Jason Nious from the hit production STOMP. On Girl Scout night, each Girl Scout will receive a free poster from Step Afrika! (a $5 value) at a specially designated Girl Scout table. JuniorsFor Junior Girls A Grand Hike through the Wood Tuckahoe State Park, Queen Anne, MDA great opportunity to look for rare
wetland flowers, find signs of forest creatures, and breath in the fresh
air along the trails of Tuckahoe State Park. This is not a strenuous hike.
Girls will work towards their Wildlife and Plants and Animals Badge. A
small snack will be provided. Please bring a water bottle. $8/person.
