Camp Aquasco
Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors

Come join the 40 year tradition of camping, conservation and fun at the Aquasco Core Camp!

For the last 40 years, the Aquasco Core Camp has been led by older girls just like you. See for yourself why Aquasco has been loved by so many for so long by getting back to the basics for a weekend of primitive camping: your troop will prepare your own food and pitch your own tents! Yearly service projects are completed at the Aquasco Core Camp to improve the camp. Troops will participate in a conservation activity. Other activities may include canoeing, crafts, games, and campfire. More detailed information will be provided.

Celebrate Aquasco! Core Camp is held on a primitive site, with latrines.

For this Core Camp Troops provide their own:
- Food
- Camping equipment
- Cookout/Campout qualified adult
- and a separate First Aider

All sites are tent campsites with latrines and water located near the pavilion. Dining flies are recommended since the camping area has few trees. Ground fires are permitted, unless a fire ban has been issued by the state. Cars may not leave the parking area so many troops bring a wagon to haul gear to campsites. Quickly cooked meals are recommended since the activity schedule is pretty full. Troops will help with all-camp kapers. More detailed information will be provided upon placement in the program.
