Adult/Pediatric CPR and First Aid - Level 1 - Washington, DC
This course covers breathing, cardiac and obstructed airway emergencies in adults, infants and children; introduction to AED's; identifying and caring for bleeding, sudden illnesses, injuries; and preventing disease transmission. This course will cover the troop requirement for a Level 1 First Aider for working with children 1 year of age and older, and adults. This course combines 416 and 418. Participants receive a two-year certification for CPR and a two-year certification for Standard First Aid provided by Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI).
