Who: All Latina girls showing leadership skills inside and outside the classroom. The program is open to girls of all secondary schools in the states of Virginia , West Virginia , Maryland and Washington, DC are who are not currently registered as Girl Scouts.

What: A gathering of Latina leaders, designed to inspire Latina youth, help them recognize their own abilities and become active in their schools and communities. This year’s theme is “Envisioning My Future.”  Participants will select to attend presentations by those professionals whose careers they are most interested in learning about. There will be a college fair, a panel of recognized Latina leaders in our community and a tour of Marymount University.

The conference will include exciting workshops on specific careers, a college fair, a campus tour, and a variety of influential guest speakers from our community such as Dra. Isabel Gomez-Bassols Licensed Psychologist, Radio Univision Personality and awardee of the 2013 NHLI Mujer Award.


REGISTRATION CLOSED

Cost:  The conference is free.  We will provide lunch, snack and transportation.
