Q. When do I have to use the Request for Council Approval Form?

A. Use the Request for Approval form for (1) any overnight (other than a sleepover in a leader's home). (2) Any activity which is considered high risk (high adventure) — see Green Pages for a list. (3) Any activity which occurs more than 50 miles away from the council's boundaries (not the troop meeting place as some think. If a troop is accepted into a council registered program or is overnighting on a council camp site, the form is not necessary. They have already filled out one form. However, if they plan an overnight using information from Mosaic but not registered through the council, they must fill out the form. There is a new form in the new Green Pages — section 8, page 18.

Q. Where do I get the form for the Girl Scout Silver Award? Where is the form for the Silver Trefoil Award?

A. Forms for the Silver Award and Silver Trefoil award are in the Kaleidoscope.

Q. Where do I find the right form to do my Gold Award? How do I apply for the Gold Award Scholarship (Gold Award Educational Fund)?

A. Forms for the Gold Award and Ed. Fund Scholarship are in the Going for the Gold Booklet.
