Q. Where do I as a parent of a Gold Award Recipient wear my parent pin on the uniform?

A. The parent gold award pin is not really identified as being worn on the adult uniform. But, the pin could be worn below the nametag.

A. Iron-On Insignia

For best results, the following general instructions are recommended.

Remove emblem from package.
Pre-heat iron for 5 minutes on high setting.
DO NOT USE steam.
Iron area of garment where emblem will be placed for 25 seconds.
Place ID Strips in desired location on garment.
Place lightweight press-cloth over emblem. Using a back and forth motion, press firmly with iron for 25 seconds. DO NOT apply hot iron directly to embroidered area.
Turn garment inside out. Using a back and forth motion, iron the back side of the emblem for 45-60 seconds while pressing firmly.
Turn garment right side out. Place press-cloth over the emblem. Iron the edges of the emblem to ensure that they are properly sealed. DO NOT apply hot iron directly to embroidered area.
Allow to cool thoroughly.

Laundering:

Machine wash warm, cool rinse. DO NOT use bleach.
Tumble dry low, remove promptly. Do not dry clean.
