The Calendar Sale is a tradition that began at GSCNC because troops needed a way to earn important start up funds in the fall. Participation is easy, quick, profitable and extremely flexible. Everyone uses a calendar…Parents, Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles, Teachers- even our Girl Scouts, have busy schedules! A high quality, full-color Girl Scout Calendar is the perfect item to help you stay organized or to give as gifts. All calendars are printed in full color on heavy weight, durable paper.

There Are Three Styles Available… (Click on the style link to see a sample)

Troop Profit is $1.50 per calendar, regardless of style

The DAY PLANNER is a spiral-bound book with monthly & weekly formats with room for every appointment. There are 24 pictures inside! It is 6" X 9 "and sells for $7.00

The POCKET PLANNER, featuring 13 months with extra pages for notes and addresses, is 7 " X 3.5 " and sells for $4.00

The WALL CALENDAR is a bright, colorful 12-month calendar with pictures of girls from our Council. It is 13" X 9.5 "and sells for $5.00.

The Girl Scout Shop, mini-shop and mobile van are selling a special Calendar Sale Patch. It sells for $1.00. The requirements for earning the patch can be determined by each troop based on their fundraising needs.

Managing the sale:
We understand that many troops are just getting started - that is why we have made the Calendar Sale flexible and easy. Get some ideas on how you would like to conduct you sale by checking out the Troop Brochure. If, as a troop, you decide that each girl would like to take orders to meet your goals, download and print the NEW Girl Order Form.

Find the Calendar Depot most convenient to you to pick up your calendars. The depot managers will provide you with deposit slips and envelopes when you pick up your calendars. No later than two weeks after pick up, simply pay for the calendars using one of the following methods:

Forward a troop check to the Council in the envelope provided.
Make a deposit into a Council account on the provided deposit slip and send in pink copy of the deposit ticket to the Council in the envelope provided.

REMEMBER: Do NOT deposit troop proceeds into council accounts.
