QSP
GSCNC QSP Sale Is Scheduled For March 31- May 21, 2008 What Is QSP? Each Fall, QSP provides to all troops the Be A Reader activities booklet. Distributed with your troop materials, the booklet has activities for girls of all ages that encourage reading, exploration and knowledge. Each spring, the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital conducts the QSP Magazine Subscription and Music & Book Selection Program. QSP enables families and friends to help GSCNC simply by renewing or subscribing to their favorite publications or by purchasing books or music selections. Please tell your families that they can renew even if their subscription has not yet expired. When they renew with QSP if will add to length of their current subscription! The Council receives 40% of the cost and applies the proceeds to the Land, Building and Equipment Fund (LBE) to keep our campsites well maintained and safe. At the conclusion of the sale, QSP makes an additional 5% corporate donation to the LBE. All profit is used for upkeep of our campsites and girls may earn modest awards. The girl incentives are great, but the real reward is going to camp to see where all their effort has paid off. The emphasis of QSP is toward the FAMILIES of girls in Girl Scouting. America's average family is spending over $156 annually for periodical literature. Over 97% of that money leaves the community. With the QSP program, families and friends have over 700 magazines to choose from. Materials for the 2008 QSP program will be distributed at your March Service Unit Meeting. The customer's certificate of guarantee, which appears on the back of
the receipt, assures consumer satisfaction. This pink receipt has the
QSP help line phone number (1-800-678-2673) on the back for customers
who have questions or concerns about their orders. Customers may contact
