Gold Award Alliance

GSCNC is excited to announce the implementation of a Gold Award Alliance. The Gold Award Alliance is a sisterhood of all recipients of the Girl Scout Gold Award or prior similar awards.

Membership is open to all girls and women who have earned the Girl Scout Gold Award, or its equivalent (First Class Award (1963-80), Curved Bar (1938-63), Golden Eaglet (1916-38).

The Goals of the Alliance are:

1. To Support and encourage all girls who wish to earn the Girl Scout Gold Award
2. To educate and promote the Girl Scout Gold Award, both inside and outside of Girl Scouts
3. Create a network of Gold Awardees of any age to connect within the community.
4. To offer service opportunities to Gold Awardees within GSCNC.

The Gold Award Alliance is still in the formative stages. Because GSCNC is honored with such a large pool of girls who have earned the award we think it is easiest to start a cyber network. We have been approved to utilize LinkedIn.com as a venue to do so. Click here to learn about LinkedIn and to join the brand new GSCNC Gold Award Alliance.
