Delegates

The SERVICE UNIT selects Delegates and Alternate Delegates who serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of Directors. Delegates must be 14 years of age or older are registered members of Girl Scouts. They attend delegate orientation prior to Forums and the Annual Meeting in April. Representing their Service Units at the Annual Meeting, Delegates elect Officers, Board and Nominating Committee Members and suggest ways to enrich Girl Scouting within the community, GSCNC, and the national organization, GSUSA. Service Units are allotted one delegate for every 200 registered girls.
