Dogsledding: The Real Thing!
Program Level: B, J, C, S, A
See and feel the dogs pull! Girl Scouts enjoy a short dogsled ride (wheeled dogsled when there is no snow) followed by a fascinating 2-hour kennel visit where everyone learns about dogsledding history, equipment, racing, etc. Play with twenty Huskies and watch a mushing film. Girl Scouts can earn the Brownie Try-It, Junior badge or the Teen IP (all with minor additions such as watching a dogsledding film at home).

Forms B220 and B240 are required for this high adventure activity.

Fee: $30/rider--scout or adult; $15/non-riders--scout or adult. $300 minimum. $2/badges or patches.
