Our office is located on Connecticut Avenue one block north of Van Ness Street. We are across the street from University of the District of Columbia, at the corner of Veazey Terrace, one block south of Windom Place.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

METRORAIL: RED Line to Van Ness/UDC. Exit on the east side of Connecticut Avenue, and ascend stairs or take sidewalk to enter from the Veazey Terrace side of the building.. METROBUS L1 and L2 also stop in front of the building. Call Metro 202-637-7000 for timing.

FROM MARYLAND AND THE DISTRICT BY CAR:

FROM FREDERICK, UPPER MONTGOMERY COUNTY, I-270:

Take 270 south to the Capital Beltway (I-495) toward Silver Spring. Proceed about 1.8 miles, then exit onto Connecticut Avenue (Rt 185) southbound. Proceed about 4.5 miles. Pass Albemarle Street, then proceed a few blocks more to Veazey Terrace. Turn left onto Veazey, and proceed to park as above.

FROM SOUTHERN MARYLAND OR SE DC anytime except the morning rush hour:

Take Route 295 north to Route 395 south, following signs for downtown Washington. Exit onto Maine Avenue and bear left onto Independence Avenue. Proceed west on Independence until it meets Rock Creek Parkway (at Ohio Drive, with Lincoln Memorial on right). Proceed about 3 miles along Rock Creek Parkway and take well-marked exit for Connecticut Avenue, northbound. Proceed 1.5 miles north on Connecticut. Cross Van Ness, then turn right onto Veazey and proceed into parking as directed above. Note: Rock Creek Pkwy is one way inbound at the morning rush hour, so this option will not work then. Try Maine Ave to Independence to 17th St north, to Connecticut Ave northbound.

FROM NORTHEAST WASHINGTON; SILVER SPRING, MARYLAND; ETC:

Take South Dakota Avenue to Riggs Road to Missouri Avenue to Military Road, wstbound. OR take North Capital Street to Military Road, westbound. Proceed west on Military Road. Cross Rock Creek Park and proceed to traffic light at Nebraska Avenue. Turn left onto Nebraska, then left on Connecticut Ave (South) then proceed .8 mile to Veazey Terrace. Turn left and follow directions as above.

FROM VIRGINIA BY CAR:

Choose the bridge that is most convenient for you.

FROM AMERICAN LEGION BRIDGE (CAPITAL BELTWAY, north side):

Take inner loop of Capital Beltway and cross into Maryland. Exit onto River Road (Route 190) east toward Washington. Continue on River Road (cross Western Avenue) to Wisconsin Avenue. Bear right right onto Wisconsin Avenue (Landmark - Best Buy/Container Store right hand side). Continue on Wisconsin Avenue to Van Ness (Landmark - McDonalds on right hand side). Turn left on Van Ness Street. Continue on Van Ness Street to Connecticut Avenue, turn left on Connecticut Avenue, then proceed to Veazey Terrace. Turn right on Veazey as above.

FROM KEY BRIDGE:

I-95 and I-395 north to Key Bridge OR: Route 66 east to Key Bridge. At the DC end of Key Bridge, turn left, into the righthand lane of M Street/Canal Road. At next intersection, bear right at the Y onto Foxhall Road. Proceed 2 miles on Foxhall which ends at T at traffic light. Turn right onto Loughboro Rd/Nebraska Avenue. Proceed .8 miles, then turn right onto Van Ness Street. Proceed one mile, then turn left onto Connecticut Avenue, and immediately turn right onto Veazey Terrace.

FROM CHAIN BRIDGE:

Turn right onto Canal Road, then make first left onto Arizona Avenue. At top of hill at T, turn right onto Loughboro Road, which becomes Nebraska Avenue. Proceed 1.2 miles until you turn right at light onto Van Ness Street. Proceed one mile to Connecticut Avenue. Turn left onto Connecticut Avenue. Make immediate right onto Veazey Terrace.

FROM WILSON BRIDGE (Capital Beltway south side)

Take outer loop of Capital Beltway and cross into Maryland. Exit onto Route 295 northbound, and follow directions for "From Southern Maryland," as above.

FROM LOUDOUN COUNTY:

Take Greenway to Toll Road (Rt 267) to Capital Beltway (Rt 495), toward Bethesda/Rockville. Cross American Legion Bridge and exit at River Road and proceed as directed "From American Legion Bridge," above.

UNDERGROUND PARKING:

Clearance is 6 feet, 4.5 inches. Enter on the Veazey Terrace side of the building, and proceed to signs for Giant Food and Visitor parking. Follow signs for Visitor Parking. Use the elevator marked "Mezzanine," unless you prefer ramp access. For ramp access, use the elevator marked "Office/Shops," and proceed to the Mezzanine level and along the long hallway to our office around the corner. Bring parking ticket to the receptionist or meeting support person for validation.
