I could spend four or more hours a week helping the Girl Scouts.

I could spend a few hours a month as a Girl Scout volunteer.

Trainers show Girl Scout adult volunteers how to lead troops, give first aid, do program activities, camp safely, teach science, cook at campfires… and much more. A great fit for those with teaching experience.

PROGRAM Volunteers, including advisors who are involved on a short-term basis or intermittently, offer skills related to budgeting, baking or building—you name it! Also, you could be an extra pair of hands or eyes at a large group activity.

Registrars fill out registration paperwork for girl and adult members in their community. This job can be done at home.

Local press representatives let the local media know what girls are up to. By taking pictures and writing and sending press releases, they help increase the visibility of Girl Scouting.

Annual-giving volunteers help raise funds that support programs and financial assistance for all Girl Scouts who need it.

Summer camp volunteers include camp directors, unit leaders, activities teachers, first aiders and others. And if you don’t like the summer heat, you could volunteer for an indoor or evening summer day camp program.

Product sales volunteers help with the famous Girl Scout cookie sale and the annual calendar sale. They store and distribute cookies or calendars, complete paperwork and help with other details.
