Internet TipsUnzipping FilesSome publications, forms, and graphics are available on this site for download and are in a zipped format. We are currently using Winzip 7.0. If you need to download this, you can find it at www.download.com Steps for Downloading Zipped Files Click on the selected document to download. (NOTE: There may be a second step to this such as a button to push once you select the document, or it may be just a link to begin a straight download.) Option #1 You can save it to disk Or Option #2 You can try to open it on the spot. (NOTE: You should copy it to your hard disk to be safe, especially if it is a large file such as a publication or multiple files. You can do this by clicking "save" instead of "open") To open a Zip File Simply double-click on the file to open it. (NOTE: In WinZip, click "Extract" to unzip the files, so you may extract them to a folder completely unzipped) Select the destination of the file 1. Either type it in the box. Or 2.Click through the menu. Or 3. Using the pull- down of recent destinations. (NOTE: Once the files are extracted into a folder on your hard disk, you can then open them up.)
