******************************************************* GSCNC HAPPENINGSGirl Scouts Scuba May 13, 2008 Members of Cadette/Senior Troop 3910 of Prince George's County, MD, enjoyed a lesson from Adventure Scuba, a company that provides lessons in scuba diving. Founder's Medallion May 11, 2008 Members of Junior Troop 6105 of Fairfax County, VA, visited the Juliette Gordon Low commemorative medallion in Washington, DC, as part of the "Discover the Nation's Capital" patch program. The medallion is one of twenty in the Extra Mile Points of Light Volunteer Pathway -- a new national monument dedicated to the spirit of service in America. (Click photo to see enlarged.) Coles Trip Adventure May 9, 2008 Members of Brownie Troop 4638 and Junior Troop 5658, both of Mantua Elementary in Fairfax, VA, teamed up for adventure at Camp Coles Trip in Stafford, VA. Helping Out at Glen Echo Park April 19, 2008 Members of Junior Troop 5900 of Montgomery County, MD, participated in Girl Scout Service Day at Glen Echo Park. The day involved lots of brass polishing.
