The Daisies and Brownies of Girl Scout Troop 239 in North Potomac made crafts to donate to homeless animals at the Montgomery County Humane Society.  They made two animal beds, 25 cage tags, and 88 toys.For Girls

What is Camp-In?

Camp-In is a program for Girl Scout Juniors and Girl Scout third-grade bridging Brownies.  Camp-In combines an indoor, overnight adventure with exciting, interactive science education. Camp-In includes IMAX and Planetarium shows, three hands-on science workshops, time to explore many of the museum's interactive exhibits, and limited time to shop in the store. Camp-In also includes an evening snack, a light breakfast, and a participation patch. Check-In begins at 5:15 PM and the program ends after IMAX in the morning at 9:00 AM.

Camp-In Highlights:

  • Hands-on Science Workshops
  • Planetarium Show and IMAX movie included
  • Special access to the Science Center and Science Store
  • A chance to spend the night in the museum

When is Camp-In Available?

Camp-In events run on Friday and Saturday nights, January-May, with specific nights reserved exclusively for either girl scouts, boy scouts, or school/youth groups. Information about 2014 Camp-In will be available soon.

Fees: $42 per person
