The GSCNC History and Archives Committee is looking for new volunteers
to help with their mission of bringing history to life for Girl Scouts
in the Nation's Capital. Volunteers can help with a number of projects:

kits that troops can borrow to learn about history (for example, a Brownie
history box might contain an old Brownie uniform, Brownie

Join the SingAlong Service
The SingAlong Service is a song-leading group for Girl Scouts in grades
9-12 and adults. SingAlong Service members give song workshops for a minimum
of 35 participants who want to learn and practice songs. Workshops may
be part of a troop/service unit event, campout, Thinking Day, Bridging
or special ceremony, or offer training at a service unit meeting. A SingAlong
Service Coordinator contacts members with dates for requests. Take part
as your schedule permits. Members also get together twice a year at the
Sing Into Weekends with service members and other singers to share and
learn songs from each other. If you love to sing and would like to join
the SingAlong Service as singer or instrumentalist, please complete the
SingAlong Service Application form and send it in. If you have any questions
about the SingAlong Service, please contact Karen Brown at ks.brown@comcast.net
or 301-469-6663. (Download
