The Cadette Program Aide pin is earned through the following steps:
1) Earn one LiA (Leadership in Action) award.
2) Complete council-designed leadership course training (i.e. the manuals above). Part of your leadership course training will involve learning to work with children, and gaining a deeper understanding of a speciality such as science, art, the outdoors, inclusion, or cookies.
3) Work directly with younger girls over six activity sessions. This might be assisting girls on Journey activities (in addition to what you did for your LiA), badge activities, cookie sales, or other sessions. You might work with a group, at their meetings, at a day camp, or during a special council event.
Council-wide training opportunities will be posted here as they become available. These PA Trainings will also be advertised in teen-Edition and e-Edition once details have been confirmed.
Other PA Trainings may be organized on the local level for girls in a specific area. For more information, please contact your Service Unit Manager or Field Director.
