Book Club Bring-A-Friend - Help introduce girls to the fun of reading! Brownies Get Ready to Go Outdoors! - Camping and outdoor skills have always been an important part of Girl Scouting, and teaching girls how to Get Ready to Go Outdoors! is a great way to introduce them to the movement. Cookie Academy - Girls will learn about cookies, goal-setting and Girl Scout fun during this event! Daisy Teddy Bear Tea - Tea parties and stuffed animals - two things guaranteed to intrigue most five-year-old girls - have been combined to create a successful recruitment event for Daisy Girl Scouts! DASHboard Road Safety - Learning to be safe and smart on the road is information all teenagers need to know. Engage and empower teen girls on the issue of comprehensive road safety, while at the same time showing them the benefits of Girl Scouting. This guide uses many activities from the DASHboard Road Safety patch program. Nutcracker Bring-A-Friend - Hold an event to earn this popular GSCNC patch program. Girls can learn about theater, art, drama, and more! Turn Beauty Inside Out - Promote healthy body image and work to expand the definition of what makes people beautiful. Especially useful to use around Turn Beauty Inside Out day on the third Wednesday of May every year. This guide uses many activities from the Grow Strong Teen kit. Zink the Zebra Bring-A-Friend - The Zink activities in this guide are designed to encourage the inclusion of new girls in the group and foster a sense of friendship and unity among all the girls participating. |
