Meet Mikayla, from Centerville, VA.

Mikayla was introduced to Girl Scouts through Camp Primevera, an outreach program for non-Girl Scouts. The experience was so positive that Mikayla went on to officially join Girl Scouts, become apart of an active troop, and has loved every minute of it.

Mikayla's mother said that without SHARE, this would not have been possible. Girl Scouts have brought Mikayla unique life experiences that she would not have found anywhere else.

Mikayla's story is just one of many day-to-day stories of GSCNC. In 1985, GSCNC started SHARE (Share Her Annual Real Expenses), an annual family giving campaign. For over 20 years, the SHARE campaign has been essential to ensuring that Girl Scouts is available to ALL girls, regardless of their financial situation.

We encourage all friends and family of Girl Scouts to contribute to SHARE. SHARE envelopes are given out to each troop through your Service Unit or Association, or can be requested by emailing share@gscnc.org. Donations can also be made directly online. SHARE gifts are tax deductible.
