95th Anniversary Guest Performers

Melinda Caroll

About her music, they say: "...bright and softly exotic"...acoustic elegance"..."a celebration of romance and exotic locales"..."a singer equally at home in pop, Hawaiian, Latin-flavored numbers and originals"..."sophisticated tropical."

For professional credits, the spotlight has followed Melinda in the past from concert appearances with super-stars such as Bob Hope, Joan Rivers, the Righteous Brothers and the Commodores...to splendid nightclubs, hotel engagements and special showroom and convention performances.

Since 1989, Melinda has been very involved with the Girl Scout Council of Hawaii, as a Girl Scout leader, choir mistress, board member and media ambassador for many events. On May 4, 1991, Melinda received Girl Scouting's highest honor, the Thanks Badge, for the far-reaching impact of her original composition, "We Change the World." Melinda was a guest performer at the 85th Anniversary Sing-Along in 1997 and the 90th Sing-Along in 2002.

In the summer of 2005, Melinda worked with "Destinations, We Are Family!". During the seven day music project, 45 girls from around the world created the album, Girl Scouts Greatest Hits, Vol. 7 We Are Family!
