Making It Matter
Program Level: J, C, S
SWE helps Girl Scouts performer six hands-on, fun experiments to teach basic engineering concepts. The purpose of the program is to introduce and encourage young girls and women to pursue careers in engineering. We perform programs for groups of 30-50 girls, so it's ideal for service unit or association events. Activities include civil, mechanical, electrical and chemical engineering.

Fee: Free
Where: At a meeting place with room for at least 30 girls and 7 six-foot tables. Site must have running water and electrical outlets.
When: Primarily on weekends or holidays. Call to schedule
