Strategic Learning and GSUSA
In 2004, Girl Scouts of the USA, our national organization, used the Strategic Learning Process to develop a Core Business Strategy for the Girl Scout movement to become the premier leadership organization for girls. GSUSA’s Core Business Strategy was refreshed in 2011.
GSUSA made a commitment to train all 112 councils in the Strategic Learning Process with the overarching goal to enhance leadership effectiveness throughout the Movement. Today, there are over 90 councils nationally who have used this process already with great success to develop local market strategies.
