 Teen Member of the Board of DirectorsAre you a Girl Scout Senior or Ambassador in 9th-11th grade? Would you like to lend your time and talents to GSCNC? Then you should consider applying for the GSCNC Board of Directors. The Board of Directors makes policy, approves finances, interacts with the community, works with the Executive Director and sets the long-range plans for our council. Two teens will be selected as members of the Board of Directors and will make a one-year commitment for 2013-2014 school year. Members must be willing and able to participate in at least five Board meetings held at the GSCNC Main Office in Washington, DC, as well as an orientation session in September 2013 and the GSCNC Annual Meeting in April 2014. The deadline to submit your application is December 15, 2012. Teens chosen in the first round will be required to participate in an in-person interview on Sunday, January 13, 2013.
