Media is an unavoidable part of life, but are you controlling it or is it controlling you?  Girls will use the collection of the Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum alongside modern advertising to examine types of media, persuasion techniques, and stereotypes.  Then, using their new media savvy, they’ll take action and create a Public Service Announcement to get the real message out about girls’ health and/or beauty.   By the end of the overnight, girls will have completed all of the steps for the It’s Your Story—Tell It: Media leadership journey for Cadette Girl Scouts.

Fees: Girl: $30, Adult: $20
$3 per activity patch, $10 for souvenir t-shirts, $11 for patch and t-shirt combo (pre-order only)

To register: Purchase tickets online at www.gadsbystavern.org.  Click the “How do I purchase tickets” link and it will take you directly to our online shop page.  Payment is due in full at time of purchase and there are no refunds except for weather cancellations.  Be sure to select the Cadette Overnight.
