At the Supercenter of Life Showcase Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts will experience being an adult for the day... and everything that comes with it! Teen girls will shop ‘til they drop and do all sorts of fun activities as they navigate the financial world of life.

The showcase allows girls simulate the real adult world, with a job, salary and family status. After creating a budget for themselves, they go around to more than a dozen stations, making a financial decision at each one. They find a house, pay for a car, secure childcare and decide whether or not they can afford a vacation this year. The showcase mixes fun with a dose of reality, girls will learn how to calculate their taxes and decide if a second job will help to make ends meet. There are fun giveaways and interactive challenges at each stations as well. It is the Game of Life, in real life!
Cost for this event is $11.50 per girl and includes all program materials, snack, patch and giveaways. Adult fee is $7.50 per adult. There are 136 spaces available for this event and registration will close on October 20, 2012 or when event is full. This is a very popular event and registration is expected to close quickly. If space is still available on October 3, 2012 registration will open up to the entire council.

Troops should register under leader name, individual girl registration should also include leader name unless registered as a Juliette. Volunteer Essentials adult/girl ratios will be strictly enforced for this event to allow the maximum number of girls to attend.
