DETAILS:                 This event is open to Teen Girl Scout troops of any age, or individual Girl Scouts age 13 and older, and is NOT an overnight event.  Adults do not need to stay, provided the required forms are left with the adult-in-charge.  Girls who register must attend the full time on both days! Please do not sign up for this Introduction to Sailing Weekend if you can’t be there for the full time.  Space is limited to 40 girls – first come, first served.  Every year we have put this on to FULL capacity.  Payment is required with the registration form.  A waiting list will be maintained after the event if full.  Refunds will be given for cancellations received prior to September 10, 2013 - ONLY IF YOUR SPOT IS FILLED - with someone on the waiting list.  NO REFUNDS will be given for cancellations on or after September 10, 2013.  An e-mail confirmation will be sent to the Troop leader, or parent, once registration and check is received.

GIRLS BRING:         Rubber-soled shoes with closed toe and heel (NO flip flops or water sandals), rain jacket and/or sweatshirt, sunscreen, hat, water bottle, sunglasses.  Girl Scouts should “Be Prepared” as it’s cool on the water with the fall breezes blowing this time of year (especially in the morning).  Come prepared with layers.

LEADERS:                Bring Health Form and Emergency Consent form PLUS permission slip with High Adventure box initialed for each girl attending.  You will need to turn in a copy of these forms to the adult-in-charge of the event, so be sure to keep the original for your records.  No girl will be allowed to participate without these forms on file.
