What: Exploring Careers in Wildlife Conservation: An Afterschool Discussion with Zoo Professionals

Who:  Girl Scout Cadettes through Girl Scout Ambassadors and their chaperones

When: Tuesday, September 17, 2013 4-5:30pm

Where: Smithsonian National Zoological Park

Description:  Join us for a candid conversation about what it’s like to work alongside amazing animals every day!  This event will feature five professionals working in different capacities at the National Zoo, all with one goal- to help protect and conserve wildlife.  Audience members will have the opportunity to hear from panelists representing a variety of backgrounds including biology, nutrition and research.  Note:  The panel is only open to students in grades six through twelve.   

Badge Tie-In: Girl Scout Cadettes or Seniors can work towards their Animal Helpers or Voice for Animals badges.
